After two weeks of get-togethers and hearty feasting, it is finally time to wind down the Lunar New Year celebrations. It was fun while it lasted, but we are so ready for some downtime to unwind. If you have no plans for the weekend except chilling on the couch, here are seven interesting links to keep you entertained.
1. Inspiration for an art print design and a reminder for small acts of kindness. 2. Have you seen all 100 movies in this list? 3. Homemade cheddar cheese crackers anyone? Yes please! 4. Popular searches on Google in 2017. 5. Is there an unspoken elevator etiquette in Japan? 6. The IKEA Dictionary. Now we finally know what KNOPPÄNG means. 7. And a gorgeous dog cake for the year of the dog. - Kick back, chill out and have a restful weekend! With Love, Min+Jia.

After two years of renting small office spaces, we have decided to move into a home office! With a room much bigger than our previous rental spaces, we are buzzing with excitement over the change and what we can do with this new empty canvas. We know what we want to have in our new studio. Separate working areas, a meeting table, and ample storage to keep our supplies. With all these in mind, we have been perusing Pinterest for more inspiration and ideas. Here are some pins that we love! (L) Build-in cabinetry is really expensive, so top open-shelving with short floor cupboards in the same colour would be more cost-friendly while still appearing like a uniformed piece. (R) We love the versatility of pegboards and how easy it would be to rearrange shelves and storage accessories. Just a mental note to always keep it neat! (L) A packaging counter would be a dream come true. We love the idea of a station dedicated to fulfilling orders and packing our goods. Imagine how convenient and organised it would be to have all the required tools in the same place! (R) Wouldn't it be nice to have a cosy corner in the office to display our current reads and favourite art prints? We can imagine having casual meetings and quiet time-outs here! (L) The chest of drawers in this pin is gorgeous and would be great for filing away all our art prints, original pieces, and sketches! (R) The layout of this home office allows for personal work spaces and a large spacious meeting table that can accommodate additional seats comfortably. We like how the bulk of the working area fits into one side of the room, thus leaving enough breathing and living space. (L) How cool would it be to display all our art prints like this? (R) Seriously considering this DIY method of using washi tape to construct a big shared calendar on the wall. It adds colour while being totally functional! - We can't wait to get started on styling our new space. Don't worry, we will definitely be updating the blog with the whole process! This is certainly the week of freebies!
Hot on the heels of the Valentine's Day printable greeting card comes a pastel sweet Lunar New Year printable. In the spirit of love and celebration, we thought it would be really fun to share another greeting card printable to keep the words flowing! If you are not giving out any red packets this year, why not pen some heartfelt words to your family and friends? Your card can be filled with blessings and well wishes for the year ahead or it could be a simple appreciation note to your loved ones. Whatever it is, your greeting card will add the best kind of warm fuzzy feelings to the season's festivities. Oh gosh, we have been so quiet on our blog. It has been a whirlwind of madness since last October and time just slipped through our fingers! We will definitely do an update on what we have been up to since October 2017 but for now, we come bearing gifts! Valentine's Day is drawing so near and we thought it would be fun to design a free printable Vday card! Everyone has someone to love in their lives. The current love in your life need not be romantic. Platonic and familial loves are just as important, and really ought to be cherished and celebrated as well! Print this greeting card out on any paper type - we do recommend a higher quality paper for best results - and share your heart in writing with the one you love. Words last a lifetime and you will definitely make someone's day that much sweeter. The printable greeting card is A6 in size. To access the printable PDF file, simply go to the Downloads section.
